Gantt Charts

What is a Gantt chart? A gantt chart is a way of displaying a schedule for a project visually. It is a chart that displays timescales and tasks using bars or lines. It includes dates along the top of the columns with details of each task required to complete the project down the left hand side rows. The Gantt chart was developed by Henry Gantt to show the timescale and processes involved in building US Navy ships during WWI.
