Should I create a Facebook page for my company?
Creating a page for your own business will allow ‘fans’ to find you (registered Facebook users can become a ‘fan’ of your company).
Fans can create discussion groups and talk about your products, eg the Nokia company page contains photos taken by Nokia fans of their phones and people are talking about them.
Fans’ actions appear on their friend’s news feeds so when someone becomes a fan of a company, their friends will get notified eg [name] has become a fan of [company/person] and this may encourage more visitors to your company page.
Companies can send news or updates to their fans and can monitor the discussions and check out what people are saying about your brand / products.
You have direct contact with people who like your products / services - your fans!
