In October we mentioned Facebook polling but there are downsides to Facebook too!
We’ve just heard that a recruitment company has today banned Facebook in core hours (8.30am - 6pm) a development on the previous policy where staff could use it between 1pm and 2.30pm!
This is due to overuse, where staff are having so much fun poking friends, sending messages and gifts, that the day job had been forgotten.
What’s the best route? Facebook should be good for many businesses. A ban is a challenge!
