I need to find a venue to hold a conference, where can I start looking? Searching at http://www.venues.org.uk/ which covers England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales provides you with an option to contact ALL the venues that fit your requirements - after your results are displayed all you have to do is enter your contact details. Each venue makes contact with you and asks for further information or provides you with full details and a price list. There are many free venue finding services available including: http://www.theconferencebureau.co.uk/ http://www.confpeople.co.uk/ The Meetings Industry Association offers a venue availability search - http://mia-uk.org/ It may worthwhile performing an online search for “convention bureau” and the location where you want to hold your event or contacting the tourist information office in that area.
